Bài tập #1 về Đại từ phản thân (Reflexive Pronouns)

Đại từ phản thân – Reflexive Pronouns phản ánh ngược lại chủ ngữ của câu. Các đại từ phản thân trong tiếng Anh gồm: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves. Mỗi một Reflexive Pronouns chỉ được sử dụng với các đại từ tương ứng và chỉ khi các đại từ tương ứng đó làm chủ ngữ của câu.

I	myself	I hurt myself again.
you	yourself	You can do it yourself.
he	himself	He enjoyed himself.
she	herself	She helped herself to some candy.
it	itself	It destroyed itself in a few second.
we	ourselves	We found ourselves in a strange city.
you	yourselves	You must clean yourselves up before dinner.
they	themselves	They accidentally burned themselves.

Nếu như đại từ phản thân và đại từ nhân xưng không tương ứng trong câu, chúng ta phải thay thế các reflexive pronouns này thành các đại từ nhân xưng.

He enjoyed himself.	He enjoyed it. He enjoyed them.
They harmed themselves.	They harmed me.They harmed her.

Lưu ý rằng các danh từ ngôi thứ ba số ít và số nhiều sẽ sử dụng các đại từ phản thân ngôi thứ ba số ít và số nhiều tương ứng.

• Marta bought herself a new car.
• The boy cut himself.
• The alien creature wounded itself with its own claws.
• The men helped themselves to some beer.
