Africa – Châu Phi là lục địa đông dân thứ hai và lớn thứ hai thế giới, sau châu Á. Diện tích khoảng 30,3 triệu km2, bao gồm các đảo lân cận, bao gồm 6% tổng diện tích bề mặt của Trái đất và 20% diện tích đất. Với 1,3 tỷ người tính đến năm 2018, chiếm khoảng 16% dân số thế giới. Dân số Châu Phi là dân số trẻ nhất trong số tất cả các lục địa; độ tuổi trung bình vào năm 2012 là 19,7, trong khi độ tuổi trung bình trên toàn thế giới là 30,4.
